Location: Errigle Kerroge Church, Gort Townland, Augher, Co. Tyrone, Ireland.
Access: By Lane to the Errigle Kerroge Church, the cross is in the graveyard. The Cross is well signposted from the main Belfast to Enniskillen road just between Ballygawley and Augher.
Description: Located in a graveyard on a ridge-top overlooking a beautiful view of the Clogher valley. This strange stumpy ringed cross appears to be unfinished. There is a visible flaw in the stone which may be why it was left in what appears to be this unfinished state.
Traditional Lore: An early monastery associated with St Cíaran (Dachíarog) and a medieval parish church were here.Information: The cross is located to the west of what remains of the church. It has been labled as 'archaic' and 'primitive, but it is clearly unfinished. The East face of the ringed cross is has outlines of the carving to be done and the west side a flat boss was worked on and there where straight lines marked. But the work seems to have been halted.
