DESCRIPTION: A
densly packed prickly bush which spreads rapidly in waste areas, making a field
totally impenetrable. Grows to a height of up to 5 feet.

onwards, yellow vetch-like flowers.

Folklore it was said that the Danes (Vikings) could brew beer from the flower
tops of Gorse.
