Name : Ballindoon Megalithic Tomb

Location : Ballindoon Cross Roads, Castlebaldwin, Co. Sligo.

Access : By road from Castlebaldwin, turn off th N4 in the middle of Castlebaldwin towards lough Arrow at the first crossroads turn left following the main road, take the first on the right and follow until you cross the River Arrow and come to the Heapstown Cross roads Turn right (Heapstown Cairn is to the Left) follow the road to the next crossroads and go through, the site is at the top of the rise on the right.

Description : A small site it may have been a portal tomb. A large hawthorn tree now grows from it. It stands looking over Lough Arrow and would have been close to the battle of moytura. The passage tomb of carrowmore can be seen across the lough from this site
