Name: Knockawaddy Standing Stone and Long Cairn.
Location: Knockawaddy Townland, Gurrane Upper, Clarinbridge, Co Galway, Ireland.
Access: Easy to access as the stone and cairn are located just inside a grazing field on the west side of a small road, this site sits at the top of a small hill.
Description: A standing stone located on top of a Long Cairn. The stone sits at the south end of the Long Cairn. With a view to the SouthWest overlooking Lahardaun and Carrowmore Townlands, towards Mweenish Island and Island Eddy (Oilean Eide) in Galway Bay and onto the Hills of The Burren, in Co. Clare.
