Location: Galloon graveyard, Galloon Townland, County Fermanagh, Ireland.
Access: By road with parking by upper Lough Erin, oposite the graveyard.
Description: A cross base featuring a multitude of carving including celtic knot work, animals, musicians and lovers. This cross is unfortunately missing the cross piece. Part of the front and a side of the inslot for the cross piece are broken off. The cross is placed at the foot of a more modern grave.
The carving include animals, lovers, musicians as well as other figurines and geometrical and interlace
designs.
Traditional Lore: Early reports describe four cross-related items (two complete shafts plus a head fragment and a ring fragment); today two decorated shafts remain and other pieces survive as fragments.
