Oscar was the son of Oisín and Niamh.  He was more of the Tuatha Dé Danann than of the Celtic and was a brave and fearless warrior.  He fought his bravest battle at Gabhra where he met his death, his grandfather Fionn also met his death there because of the jealousy of Cairpre Mac Cormac.  He was buried at Ben Edair (Howth) North Dublin.
